Is there a patch where the Philippines country is added in WINSPWW2? I mean, the Ph was one of the major countries involved in the war....McArthur famous line "I shall return" was mentioned there.
The ph was the final bastion for the allies against the japs in the pacific..etc. it's such an important country.

I would venture a guess,, the Philippines were under U.S.control since the Spanish American War to july 4 1946 not really a country,more like a territory.

But they did partcipate very much and bravely in defence against the JIA invasion,and read that more Philippino's died after the JIA occupation than americans.
Trouble is the line has to drawn somewhere,who gets in, or not.

Good question though,there maybe someone who could help you mod some guerrilla forces.

No. You're thinking of the other WW2 game. I did a Philippine orbat a a couple years gone and it's here in the TOEs part of this forum. It's part of the US Army. All errors are mine.

By the way, I can never remember. Is it one L or two LL in Phillippine?

Yea, Philippines was not really an "independent" country back then, and most of their equipments were either of two types: guerrilla, or, US.
And if one should argue about the merits of a particular nations in the war, I think it will make for a very subjective debate, which in itself has no end nor use for a military game like SP.

Philippines was probably U.S eqquiped, so i guess you could just change training/morale and use the US oob to fill in, that's what i'd do for Brazil, for example.
