Show Heroes v 0.1 linux script
 

Hi

I am used idea from original worthy heroes mod - create a map to show all heroes available in the mod. So I created a python script that change .mod file to show #hero? and #multihero? as #addreccom. This change heroes to recruitable commanders.
Script and change of CBM1.92 is attached. You could use this script to view heroes of mod nations.

List of known problems, some of them will be fixed in future versions:

Script doesn't show vanilla heroes.

If mod overrides heroes setting (as MA Oceania in CBM 1.92) you will see all added heroes.

Not tested on win - line endings could be a problem.

No user guide - just run view_heroes.py mod_name.mod. I am to lazy to write how to run a python script guide yet.

doesn't work on windows :(... are you willing to modify it for?
I'd like a lot to recruit the heroes :), it's a thing that make me nervous, waiting for them to appear... considering i'm just playing from less than a week i don't even know if their joining my ranks is due to time or particular conditions

you could use cbm mod in archive - it is cbm 1.92 + heroes.
About windows - you don't know how to run python script or you run it and it failed?

no i mean that i activated your mod but it fails to run... (on win7)

also i thought cbm has included WORTHY HEROES (which improve them or something like this) not the showing hero option like your mod o.O! am i wrong on this?
