Huge playing Delay on Full Screen Issue
 

In the beginning, when I first started playing WINSPWW2, I was able to do it in full screen. I have Windows 7 and am using the same computer and operating system I started with. Now, in full screen, there is a substantial delay even just clicking from unit to unit. Artillery takes forever to fire (like one second for each blast and yes, I LIKE using the slow artillery option in order to see damages better. Now I have to play it windowed at 1152 X 864 resolution, which makes the screen much smaller and not as easy to see. Is there a fix for this? Why did it suddenly occur? I don't know that I did anything different to cause it, but it seems to me it happened shortly after an MSN update.

We have made no change to the game to cause this. You could try a test re-install and see if that version works better for you or you could try checking for a video driver update.

Is it possible you have altered the CamoGame.ini graphic delay settings ?

Perhaps someone else on the forums has had a similar experience ??

I did do a complete uninstall and reinstall, followed by all the patches in correct order. It still did not fix it. I DID see a post earlier about making sure the task bar is as small as it can be, and this seemed to help a little. I think it had something to do with the MSN update I got. I have no clue how to do anything with the camogame ini graphics settings, unless that is on the initial startup page. I have played with those settings to try to speed it up, but it still is very slow. I don't think it is the game itself, but hope someone out there may know how I can tune or tweak my puter to fix it.

The solution seems to be play in "windowed mode" with desktop resolution selected from Game Options
