how do u rename a leader? just spent 5 mins trying to figure it out.

Right click on them to bring up their stat window, press R. Renaming needs to be enabled in the game settings when you start a new game, though. I believe it is off by default.

Call up the leader (be looking at his info screen) and hit r. Or was it capital R?

Yea just like Hrum hit "r" non capital, but you can't rename your god or any heroes that have entered the hall of fame.

At work ATM but I think even a heroic trait (red star) precludes renaming. May be full of it though.

iirc prophets cannot be renamed.

Yes. As per http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showt...t=47579&page=3, if you want a named Prophet, you have to do so before (or same turn as) you Prophetize him.

Nope, that is correct. Commanders in the hall of fame (or who have been in the HoF at some point) cannot be renamed. Prophets can't either, as has been noted ; and pretenders cannot either.
