building replication
 

In the "old" Steel Panthers I seem to recall being able to repeat the same structure over and over again while creating a map terrain. I think it involved holding down a key while repeatedly placing the structure though I've not had any success with this to date. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!:)

Read the descriptions of these till you find your answer.
NB - the description of the key you are seeking reads "lock the current building type until you press another icon or button. Very useful in laying city grids!"

Or if in the scenario map editor, press the "help" button. The section you require is on page No. 1 of the help text entitled "Map Editing Basic Help". It is the section entitled "Hot keys for map editing". Your answer appears on page 2.

The answer can also be found in the in game/editor help.

Press the ? button

then press Editor Help and the answer is at the bottom of the second page
