Can you please take out the color background from the manual and just leave it plain white to make it easier to print?

You can disable the printing of the background from your browsers settings.

I don't want to print from the browser because there are a lot of things that aren't needed. I just want to print everything related to gameplay so I would copy/paste to open office writer, edit, and then convert to a pdf for printing.

I don't know anything about html. Is there a way to just eliminate the background in the browser? I use chrome but could use ie for this purpose if necessary.

Well... you could try renaming "Yellow.png" found in the Images folder to xYellow.png and that will clear it

Copy pasing the text from the html manual to OpenOffice Writer should not transfer the background only the text... You could try copy pasting the text to notepad first maybe that helps.

I dont know anything about html either, but atleast in Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox there are options to not print the background images / colors. In Mozilla they are in the page settings tab. Depending on the version of Internet Explorer they should be similary in the page settings or in older version they are hidden somewhere in the internet options / advanced tabs.

Look for a checkbox that reads "Print background colors and images"...

For the future Word, Open Office Writter & I think the odd actual printer have the option to print the background or not. Its just a checkbox in the advanced print options or whatever its called for that program.

Another option is that there is a PDF version of the Game Guide here:

It is version 5.0 (the latest Game Guide is ver. 5.5 in HTML)

If there are specific parts you want to print, you might find PDF easier to work with.

Cross, I have that and enjoy it. Thank you. Unfortunately it also has that light brown background which makes it not very suitable for printing. Regardless, I'm going to wait for the updated manual which hopefully will be available soon. :-)
