Caelum Sub - Will suit someone with low self esteem or a history of failure
 

We are looking for a sub for Caelum for this game:

We've ended up swapping in Warhammer as the map, to get a better (lower) ration of provinces to players. It is only turn one, so its early days yet - but there is some pot-luck, as some other dude has done your pretender and TBH I have absolutely no idea what they have done or how good they are.

As a consequence, i would speculate that this will suit an itermediate player looking for a bit of a challenge and a fixer-upper opportunity, although particularly brave or foolish n00bs might also like what they find. And hey, if it turns out that you get totally and utterly smashed, what the heck - you can blame it all on that other guy! :-)

So don't wait - man up and get you application in now, before some other victim .... sorry, player .... gets in first and grabs this glorious opporunity for a one way ticket to humiliation, obscurity and oblivion!

I'm considering... although I'm already in two games that are just starting. Hopefully Vanguard X can give me some pointers on his pretender, and I need to look into EA Caelum a bit.

EDIT: Vanguard X got in touch with me, and on reflections, I won't be joining this game. Sorry guys :(

Is there something in particular about the game that is the issue, or is it the pretender?

A bit of both, plus I'm a bit scared of overcommiting. Having gotten a closer look at the warhammer map, it's horribly busy, the province borders are hard to make out, and the connections are often unintuitive. I'd still play it with a pretender I like, maybe, but as it is, I think I'd rather wait a couple of weeks before joining a third game.

I'm willing, though I haven't played any CBM and this would only be my 4th game. If you can find someone you prefer, that's good, but I offer at least a little more than the AI :p
