Karhumaki scenario idea (canceled)
 

I have been interested in the Finnish attack phase of the Continuation war in 1941 and have come across this article in the Jaeger Platoon website:

I think this battle could be made into a good scenario or even several.

The battle involves a Finnish tank formation which is quite rare since most attacks on the Finnish front were infantry only battles. Also it has the first combat use by the Finns of the captured T-34 tank leading the attack.

The problem is I really suck at scenario designing, but I know there are alot of talented scenario designers here. So maybe this article can inspire some of them? :)

These pictures show more of the landscape. Now unfortunately all of thse are from the Karhumäki village/town area. Would be nice to have more pictures along the way to Poventsa and Stalins canal, but hopefuly these give a general idea of the landscape.

Well I figured I'd try making some scenarios of this operation myself after all. I am thinking of maybe 3 scenarios. One would be the fighting in Karhumäki city, second will deal with the advance from Karhumäki to Povenets and final one will be at the Stalins canal in Povenets.

If anyone has started making scenarios of this battle operation let me know so we can co-ordinate efforts.

I will update this thread as I progress.
