Communion Question
 

Communion Question. Wondering if anyone has seen this before.

I was trying a reverse communion. 36 mages total:
Turn 1: 24 Mages cast Communion Slave (for reverse communion)
1 Mage casts Communion Master (need him for some buffs)
4 more mages cast Communion Slave (true Slaves)
7 more mages cast Communion Master

Turn 2: Everyone casts whatever and here comes the problem.
The first mage of the group of 7 Masters is scripted to cast Power of the Spheres. He has 2 astral gems. He is an S2 Mage. However he casts Luck instead.

The only thing I can guess at is that with the Slave boost he is at S6 and Dom3 decides he doesn't need a POS boost?
Is this the issue? If so does anyone know the mechanic for this. Curious if anyone has seen this.

If the AI determines the opposition too be far too weak in comparison to your force, it will refrain from casting gem'd spells to save on them.
