River Crossing
I want to make a scenario where infantry sections carry boats. I suppose I have to set the map to a river crossing map to do that? Because according to the help file I have to press the ^ key to do that, but it doesn't work, probably because I use a German keyboard and the key is in a different position. Apparently on QWERTY keyboards the ^ key is on the number 6, but that doesn't work either. So any alternatives?

Re: River Crossing
Well on my Finnish keyboard I must press and hold shift and then hit the ^ button twice to get it working. Maybe a similar thing with German keyboard?
The number 6 key does not work for me either. It gives me the & sign. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_layout Heres a list of different keyboard layouts. |
Re: River Crossing
Or you could simply lay a normal stream across the map top to bottom and then use the "convert streams to rivers [O]" button and decide on river width as usual. Then edit that map and finally buy your troops for an assault.
The other key is for those folks who want to do something weird other than a river - lots of little lakes perhaps. Andy |

Re: River Crossing
Pressing ^ and then space solved it.
