i thought earth mages automatically got some level of reinvigoration? am i totally wrong here?

that must just be the bless i was thinkin of?

also, if do have an earth bless can i get the reinvig for my pretender? can i bless him?

if you have not guessed, i really need that reinvig!

Summon Earth Power gives +1 Earth magic and +4 reinvigoration.

What GFSnl said, and you can look up the various bless effects in the FAQ. Of course, a sacred earth mage needs to be blessed first for any blessing reinvig to kick in. He can do it himself if he has holy levels or have someone else do it if he doesn't.

Each point of earth gives +1 protection. Iirc this is added to the natural protection, not the armor. The game uses these values to calculate the combat protection. Search the wiki for protection mechanics for a large set of tables explaining how the final prot is calculated.

As I understand it, you can never bless your Pretender. I found that putting Shroud of Bless on him does nothing :)

Modded games can introduce sacred pretenders or pretenders with holy levels iirc. (on of them is bugged, and causes crashes). But CBM and vanilla no way.
