Italy OOB 34 comments
 

Some things that I have spotted in the Italian OOB:

1.) Formation 049 (Meccanizata) is available from 1/43 onwards, while the units it contains (unit 108: Cingolato M3) becomes only available from 1/46 onwards. Similar formation 050 (Meccanizato) becomes available 1/46.

2.) Formations 157-162 (Armi Pesante) are at the moment rather clunky platoons consisting of a wide mixture of support weapons. If these formations are supposed to represent heavy weapons companies, I think it would make sense to change the formation type into company and split the units inside into multiple platoons/sections.

3.) Armato P-26/40 (units 055 and 088) have carry capacity 4, which seems a bit low for medium tank.

I don't have the time ATM to look at these and comment but they are now on the list.....

That said for the first point

474 - Romeo Cingolato - Available 01/043 to 12/046 *has X3 Radio Code*


.....so there IS a unit to cover the time period the formation exists but I *may* have to look at the radio code when I get to this on the list

Thanks for pointing out that unit 474. I tried purchasing that formation in 43-44 time period, and the game gave the error message that there is unit available for that formation type. Changing the default unit from 108 to 474 fixed the issue for me locally.
