KV-1 with KwK 40 / KwK 42
 

It is known that at least two captured KV-1 were re-built with a 7,5 cm KwK 40/L48 and a commanders cupola from a PzKpfw IV. But I've so far missed that particular set of icons.

So I've created my own, suitable for both the KwK 40/L48 and the KwK 42/L70. Cause I don't think that the KwK 42/L70 was too heavy for the KV-1 turret to handle since the gun weighed about 1.750 kilos compared to about 1.550 for the KwK 40/L48, that historicly was known to be fitted in that particular turret.

So here are my attempts at creating icons for this hybrid tank, I hope you'll enjoy them - feel free to use them! I chose to make the Summer camouflage dark yellow, since this was used on the original vehicles, converted by the 9th Panzer Division.
