Lost Item in Trade
 

Has anyone seen this before. I forged an item and then traded it to someone else. I noticed after that the number of messages was too low (I also gave earth and air gems, but it said only 2 messages sent). He never got the item.

I'm assuming most likely thing is I inadvertently destroyed it, but has anyone "lost" an item in trade?

Could be you canceled the item trade. Or if he was receiving too many messages, the item got lost. There's a hard limit on how many messages can be sent to a player and if someone receives too many, any excess is lost, IIRC. However, take with a grain of salt because the last time this was an issue for me was in Dominions 2.
