There are more than just that one that have armour and no survival number. It's on the list to check

Is there any info on the characteristics of the different levels of survivability? I was wondering how to base a change in an upgrade of anti mine or IED armor. For example: going from the M998 to M1114 UAH to the newer M1152A1 with FRAG 5 enhancements. Also other vehicles like the DVH Strykers and M2A3 BUSK.

The "survivability" ratings are very simple. Zero is very bad, 6 is as good as it gets and it influences how well a vehicle deals with a penetrating hit. The spin off to that is crew survival. A vehicle with a low survivability has a low chance of getting out unscathed and one with 6 has a much better chance but all that is influanced by random number variables so there is no gurantee than becasue your tank has 6 survivability the crew will all get out safe and sound...conversley just becasue your vehicle has 1 survivability does not mean that you can't " get lucky" and they all bail out OK but yoiu would be hard pressed to see much of a difference between say........ a 4 and a 5 by running a "kill test" on 100 targets becasue how they are killed is also affected by what is killing them and how much over penetration there is

So I guess the answer to your question is there is no set formula for determining survivability. If something was survivability 4 and it got a decent upgrade I'd give it a 5. If tank XZT is the basic model in 1963 and had a 3 and it was sold and upgraded I might give it a 4

As a rule of thumb it seems to be:

"1" I don't recall ever seeing a "1", but then I've never looked for one.
"2" seems to be what an armored HMMWV rates.
"3" for your basic 1950s-60s tank.
"4" for something like an M60 with blowout panels, automatic fire suppression, etc.
"5" seems to be the rating for an M1A1 or MRV IFV.
"6" for the advanced (i.e. 2000+) western tanks.
