Best SP Map + Top Map
 

I'm working on a tutorial for some people and need some recommendations on the best existing map that has a referenced/actual top map/area (even if a Google map) to match it up with. Basically what I need is a topo map to use for planning/training purposes that pretty well matches a WinSP map.

Any ideas?

i recommend any stock urban or "City" maps also the German towns and countryside maps.

The ANZAC campaign for WinSPWII- I don't have a copy anymore, sorry- had some extremely detailed historical maps. Photos were used to recreate building damage, for example. You should ask Pyros.

Was looking for more modern battle locations but the ANZAC Campaign map would work too. I will have to dig up the old files and see what I can come up with thanks.

I would think a lot of the Swedish maps would fit your bill, I assume they are based on decent data. Otherwise I think most of Mareks (appologies if got it wrong) would foot the bill though the are complicated.
There is also a set of 3 or 4 maps on the Greece Turkey border that could well be what you are after. Not included in game but you can download from the forum.
