Kill markings - only for destroyed MBTs, APCs, AFVs and aircraft?

This issue may sound silly and I don't know if this is the right place for this topic, but something that I'd like is for only destroyed MBTs, APCs, AFVs and aircraft so leave behind a Kill marking in the info screen of the vehicle that destroyed, and not also infantry squads, MMGs, HMGs and so on.

Are there any settings that can be made in the game files so that this is possible?

If - and I stress IF - I understand your comment...

It's not so much "Kill Markings" as a total units destroyed which a factor in a units promotion from green->regular->veteran->elite.

Also many players like to know which of their units have killed how many things.
