Scen 129 freeze bug?

Playing this scenario (aka To Settle the Score) the game freezes during the AI turn 1. Playing full screen or windowed, low or no animation level makes no difference.

My OS is Windows XP and game version is v7 DL. Game save should be attached. Appreciate any help troubleshooting this. Thanks.

Are you sure it freezes? Its a long AI turn try making a coffee if it looks like nothing is happening & coming back

OK thanks. Maybe 5 or 10 minutes? Can't recall any turn this long but I'll give it a try.

Edit: Well I'll be doggoned. Took about 10 minutes--wasn't there to see it--but yeah, now it's on Turn 2. Talk about watched pots not boiling!
