Determining Maximum Firing Range
Hello All, I have a question about determining maximum firing range of a unit. For example, in game in the lower left hand corner it says when I select the M1A1 Tank that its maximum firing range is 6000 meters which is 120 hexes.
My question is there away for me to know how far 120 hexes is without manually counting 120 hexes? I hope this makes sense. Thank you very much for reading this question. |
Re: Determining Maximum Firing Range
No & the chances of it taking a shot at that range is remote anyway, chance to hit & possibly even destroy the target are to low for the shot to be worth taking

Re: Determining Maximum Firing Range
The closest I could think is the T(arget) command, which allows you to check the range to the visible targets.
And for indirect fire weapons you can find on the bombardment menu whether a given hex is beyond range. |
Re: Determining Maximum Firing Range
Thanks Imp and Griefbringer for taking time out to response to my question. That is what I was thinking too Imp, it would not be worth shooting at anything that far because more than likely I would not be able to hit the target.
That is what I was thinking about using too Griefbringer. Thank you for suggesting it:-) |
