Retreat of the edge of the map
 

Hi!

I'm just playing the stock Iwo Jima Campaign and got totally wasted in the first scenario.

One question occured there:

Is it bad for my points if I retreat my units of the map edge?


After unloading my troops I moved my barges an LVTs of the eastern map edge to prevent loosing them to enemy fire.

Was that a bad idea? :confused:

Certainly they're not counted as points for your opponent, nor are your points deduced. Though you cannot use them for the rest of the current battle.

Kind of safe haven for your weak and unused units.

Guess my bad points really came of the huge losses in the last battle...I just hope I can scratch a DRAW this time :D
