My dad was assigned to a tin can that participated in the recovery of the Marines, UN forces, and refugees, he has stories too as I am sure many of us have heard from our loved ones as well. Actually there were a fair number of US Army there as well.
A few units that were supporting the Marines in the first place and several others that had gotten separated from their parent commands and joined the withdrawal. |
