Shipset Authors Please Read!
 

I'll have to update and revise the race directory I had made.
Some links are really outdated and new races have to be added.


URLs of shipset in this forums need to be updated

USy has changed format for 483rd time (though John says it's only the 5th), and URLs of shipsets also need to be updated.

It will be a good chance to spot the races that were never moved to the new section of the forums since there are some that are only found in the (old) closed section (now there are two closed sections).

I've seen Dogscoff's message correcting Viking's URL, and also have seen most of the new races posted here and in USy. But there more than what I've seen.

So please remind me of the basic data of your shipset/s.
*Full Name: Empire Name + Empire Type in their AI_General
*Internal Name: Dir/Files Name
*Author Name: The name you want me to list, it can be your real name, nick or both. I had made a mess and I think some aouthors are listed differently with different shipsets and look like different persons. If you want you can also include your email.
*URL: A link where the shipset can be found, you can provide many alternatives in order of priority. If you agree also a direct link to the .ZIP file.

I'm to lazy to do this myself but if someone else helps I'd be glad to add some rating, and/or a very brief description of every shipset.

Would you like to see a similar list for tech mods, maps, ect.?
Please post data about them too.

Andres, your race directory is a fantastic idea. Would you care if I put a link to it on my site?

If ok, just tell me what you would like it called.

All the most up to date B5 sets that I know of can be found in the B5 Mod.

I also have a shipset for a race I use in regular SE IV called the Shadri (I have both Gold and 1.49). Right now it is only posted here in the forums.

The 1.49 update just includes the AI and emp files for SE IV 1.49 (since the ships are in the Gold set alerady).

Aquilaeian, Toron and Zorgoid have all information correct. Rintax Empire's author is misspelled as Klaus Lehoten, the correct spelling is Klaus Lehtonen. All shipsets can be downloaded from New Scenario/Mod Forum: Space Empires:IV AI Races/Ship Sets. Rintax and Zorgoid as no AI Versions and Toron and Aquilaeian as part of TDM Modpack.

Good work keeping up that list. It is very good resource when looking for shipsets.
