scen 22 Iraqi unit fox armoured car
 

Hi

Playing scenario 22, the French attack in the Gulf 91 war, I noticed that the picture for the Iraqi Fox armored car, when you right click to bring up the info screen, is of the Scorpion light tank.

I thought I'd just go into mobhack and change the picture - the picture in the UK OOB is correct. But when I mobhack the Iraqi OOB, I can't find a fox a/c.

So I'm not sure what is going on, how Iraq ends up with a Fox a/c in this scenario.

Doesn't affect the playability though :)

That unit is a scorpion light tank - which is in the orbat as a 'captured tank'. Note 76mm L5 gun, not Rarden gun. The designer has changed the name though.

Thanks. My mistake for not checking the stats! :doh: However did Iraq capture a scorpion though? Maybe the Kuwaitis had some. But I remember film of them operating the Saladin a/c trying to defend their country.

Iran had them starting in 1973, so there was plenty of opportunity for Iraq to capture a few during the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war.
