US OOB 12 formation comments
 

1.) Armoured infantry battalion support formations

a.) Formation 238 (ArmInfBn Spt 43) has three M8 HMC as part of company HQ. These could be made a separate platoon of their own.

b.) Formation 243 (ArmInfBn Spt 45) has three M7 HMC as part of company HQ. These could be made a separate platoon of their own.

c.) Formaion 245 (Armd Inf Bn Spt) has two 75 mm howitzers and two trucks attached to the Mech MG platoon. These howitzers and trucks could be made a separate platoon of their own.

2.) Other battalion support formations

a.) Formation 353 (Glid Bn Spt 45) has three mortar sections as part of the company HQ. These could be split into a platoon of their own.

b.) Formation 377 (Rgr Bn Spt ETO) has four MMG sections attached to the company HQ. These could be split into a platoon or two of their own.
