Timed Objective Assault Battle Type
I understand from the game guide that an attacker has until half the scenario turns BEFORE defender is credited with timed objective points, as discussed here:
"In an assault, the defender gets the standard victory hex score credited from the halfway point onwards, and double from the thee-quarter point on. Scoring this way allows the attacker some time to clear defensive obstacles etc." However, while play testing my latest Afghan scenario, the defender started receiving credit at turn 14 of a 45 turn scenario. Am I missing something in my reading of the timed objectives? ===== |
Re: Timed Objective Assault Battle Type
Its actually 1/3 of the game for points to be applied in the defence, then doubled at 2/3 into the game.
In a delay, the points start getting credited at 1/4 of the way through. In the delay and defence, only the defender gets credited (the attacker denies points to him by taking objectives from him) In a meeter, its from turn 3 onwards that points get credited. Both players should be getting points for any held objective here. cheers Andy |
