Bug on Russian Mountain Troop icon?
 

Currently doing a PBEM game and the Russkies seem to have a 10 man squad with an icon of 2 man team:

Ah !.........they are Mtn infantry AT UC........and that only generates the two man Icon. A decade ago that was a Hvy mtn inf class..then in 2007 it was changed........don't know why but I'll correct this for the next patch.....

Not a "bug" - all infantry-at use the same 2 man team icons, even if there are 4, 10 or whatever men.

However, looking at the OOB, it looks like the wrong class was entered here (should be the same class as the others in that block in the 680s, as the weaponry is similar as is the unit title).

But that is a data entry error in the OOB, not an actual bug in any programming. Data <> Code.

The OOB will be fixed in the next release.

I was misled into thinking it's a mere weak team but lo and behold when I engaged it my unit got screwed...haha

OK. I'm not into programming so when I see an error in a program I tend to just call it a bug.... or a glitch... whatever it is. Turns out they're different eh?

They are now Mtn Pioneer support and that fits quite nicely as that one unit runs the whole time period of the OOB
