2 replacment players needed for fast-paced PBW game.
6 player game, medium quadrant, ten starting planets each. Things should go fast once I can fill these two spots.
These two dropped out before playing the first turn, so there is no problem here with the AI or the previous owner mucking things up. You get these fresh. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif First come first serve. Game Name: "Dimension X : Planets Abound" Geoschmo |

Ok, one spot is taken, one left.
Your empire is waiting for you. Are you up to the challange? With 10 homeworlds research will be faster, resources will be less of a problem. But all your opponents wil have the same advantage, so this game should have some large clashes very early on. Looks to be an exciting and fast paced affair. You don't want to miss it! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif Geoschmo |
Re: 2 replacment players needed for fast-paced PBW game.
I get an "Invalid Password" error when trying to load my turn.
You'll have to overide it. Edit: I got the message from Eric Snyder II I'm changing the password again. How do I report that change to the PBW page? [ 27 February 2002: Message edited by: Andrés Lescano ]
|

quote:
I'm changing the password again. How do I report that change to the PBW page?

From the PBW FAQ:
quote:
1.12 - How do I change my empire password?
If you need to change the PBW entry only--that is, you entered the wrong password into the PBW system--please e-mail admin@pbw.cc and tell us which empire and which game, and what the correct password is. If you're changing it in the game, go to the Empire Status screen, and choose "Change Password." Then e-mail the PBW admin as above with the new password. In the near future we will be adding the ability to update this password Online without an e-mail to the admins. If you don't know the in game empire password, the game owner can reset it. [See 3.5] to learn how. [...] 3.5 - How do I reset a player's password? With Version 1.49, Malfador added the ability for the game owner to reset a player's in game empire password. This is very useful any time the in game password does not match what is on PBW, like if the player changed it and then forgot, or had to be replaced in the game and didn't tell anyone the password. You have to run the turns offline to do this. Download the current turn files from the Game Admin screen and then log into the game as the game master. Click on the game menu button and then the options button. Then hit the reset passwords button and highlight the empires you want to reset passwords for. The game will pop up a box for each empire and give you the new password. Click ok and then close and then end turn. When the turn processes, unpload the files to the PBW as a replacment turn from the game admin screen and then email the player their new passwords. They can change that to something else if they want when they play the next turn.

capnq PBW admin |
