CD question
 

This is not a big thing, just a convenience. I am not expecting a positive answer, but I have nothing to lose either.

I bought the CD version several years ago. I think the executable is from 2005. I don't remember the version (5?) as obviously I have the game fully patched/installed.

I was wondering if Shrapnel offers for those of us who have the CD version, and old CD version, an alternate, already patched, setup file for the game, to download.

As I said it is not a big thing, it's not like I install the game every month, but it would be nice to have a newer setup file for obvious reasons, speed, convenience, less chance for a f-up during a fresh installation with all the patches, etc.
But mainly convenience.

If you bought the CD in 2005 that will be V1

What we have is what's on the DL page now.....consolidation patches that will bring game up-to-date in fewer steps than individual yearly patches. Right now that's three steps from V1

Years ago, i grabbed me a version of Install Creator. Patched my version 1 to the newest one and made myself a new Installer out of my patched folder. As you can see on the picture you can gave it a nice structure "out of the box". A selfextracting .exe of a zip-file made after patching your game, would be the same for sure.
