Afghan Govt Location
 

Not sure if it is purposely done but if you play Afghanistan vs Mujahadeen the location comes up as Syria. I would think it should be Afghanistan. I tried 2017 and 2018 as a timeframe. OOB 26 vs OOB 22

The Mujadeen OOB is depicting Syrian factions later on.

If you dont like the default - you can go into the "view map" function and load another location.

Playing around with a couple of other scenarios. When I pick the UK or Russia to play the Mujahadeen. It takes place in Afghanistan but when I pick the Afghan govt it takes place in Syria. It seems like something is off here with the batlocs.

Now corrected. ANA vs Muja now gives Afgan locations again

it Varies from OOB to OOB.... ANA just got waylaid but I haven't tested "everyone else" either.........Franch Vs Muja gives west Africa, Croatia vs Muja gives Afghanistan, USA vs Muja gives Afghanistan.


This will no doubt change as events continue to evolve anyway and the game already gives you the ability to change location to wherever you want...there is a limit to how far we want to code every possible battle location anyone can think of

From the version 10 release notes:

But there was something wrong with afghan v muj - my error - now fixed

Also, Kenya and Nigeria versus Muj now meet in the appropriate areas for their local terrorists. France post 2013 or thereabouts meets them in West Africa.

Given what is going on now, might want to put the Russians in Syria vs Muja.
