No Fullscreen
 

Dear Guys,
Just downloaded and patched WinSPWW2 and WinSPMBT.
WinSPMBT will play in fullscreen, but I get SAL errors trying to run WinSPWW2 in fullscreen.
Seems one should work just as well as the other.
Suggestions?
I'm using Windows 10

If one game works then so should the other. Try to think of anything different you did for each game's installs, and then reinstall the same way. For example - did you use any of window's compatibility modes on the one exe and not the other?

Also - Full-screen mode is an unsupported legacy mode left over from MSDOS and XP days. If it works on a particular modern PC then that is entirely by good fortune. Desktop resolution in Windowed mode replaces it.

The fact that you got MBT to run fullscreen with win10 is remarkable. Neither Andy or I can but neither of us would ever use fullscreen mode even if it did work for us.

As Andy said full screen is no longer a supported mode. The games run spectacularly well in windows desktop mode and you can find screenshots of it running at 5120 x 2880 (!!).

It will also run quite well with Borderless gaming if you don't like playing with the lower taskbar showing .
