Air support not showing on map
 

I played this game a long time ago and I remember that when air attacks arrive I could see the attacking plane transit across the map to deliver the attack.

I just recently reinstalled and updated the game and I don't see the airplanes fly across the map. Is there a setting I could be missing?

If the aircraft is firing missiles / guided bombs it does so from off map.
You will see aircraft fly over the map and make attacks if they are using guns / iron bombs.

...and make sure your preferences are set with Animation level on full

There is no problem with air showing on map
