SOCOM II ??
 

Anyone know anything about the game SOCOM II ? coming out for PS2?
Looks good but just wondering if anyone else has heard anything about it.

I can't comment on SOCOM II, but if you like FPS's similar to SOCOM then you may be interested in Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six III, available in various guises for multiple platforms.

A great new FPS out for WWII folks is Call of Duty. Similar to Medal of Honor, but the AI is much better, making for even more intense firefights...not because the AI is "harder", but because it acts more like real humans. It's the first FPS where covering fire supresses effectively, and you really feel like the soldiers on both sides want to stay alive.

Does Shrapnel publish any games that feature similar AI? I remember the great Close Combat series of RTS's were remarkable for the sense of self-preservation the troops had.

Finally picked it up and I am in love with this game!
The Online play is amazing ...especially with the rocket launchers and landmines...haha I can spend hours Online
