Pzf 3's are bad for invasions - also Apple M1 silicon
So Germany is now giving 1000 antitank weapons to Ukraine. If they are newer versions of the Pzf 3 that is not good news for Russian tankers. Pzf 3's are the best in the game I reckon. Good luck punching through a city filled with those things.
Not sure why USA uses much less capable weapons. Different problem different solution perhaps... Anyone have SPMBT working on M1 (apple processor) macbook air? So far I have no luck with getting SPMBT to work on it. Tried Crossover demo without luck. Could not get beyond the main start screen due to display and selection problems. Will try Wine next, although i understand Crossover and Wine are very much related. Fortunately, when I need some quality time with one of the best games ever made, I still have my 10 year old macbook air which runs SPMBT just fine in VM (Parallels). |

No, but good luck. As it is no longer X86 not sure it can work.
You might want to start saving for a cheap PC for your gaming needs. |

Using Crossover, it runs just fine for me on an M1 mac. Try messing with which windows version its emulating. Using an older version of Windows as the emulation version tends to work better for me for these games.
"As it is no longer X86 not sure it can work." My M1 mac runs X86 code faster than my I5 did. |

Hi, Can you detail how you got it to run under Crossover. New to the app. I am unable to get past the main screen which is distorted and frozen. I get a message that Crossover (WINE) detects Windows Auto taskbar hide and to disable it. The WINE settings appear to give no such option. I have tried multiple Windows OS versions. disappointing. Of course the game works fine when running Win10 off of Parallels off MacOS but it would be nice to have an option that dispenses with OS emulation or dual booting. I am running a new M1 CPU MacBook Pro. Thx |

update.
still no joy...windows 11 and Mac M1. I installed the ARM windows 11 and it runs nicely in Parallels. however trying to run WinSPMBT, in any mode, (windowed/full screen.....intro/no intro....Direct X/GDI) gives the same distorted graphics. I will continue to mess around with it. |

ok....sorry to clutter with responses. but after playing around, success
with the purchased install....I selected 800 x 600 within a Parallels VM running on a Mac M1. (windowed) Got it to work. the window is a bit small. Haven't messed around with it much yet, but the game is playable using a MacBook with the M1 under those settings, and if your willing to spend for a subscription with Parallels. (figure it should work with free VM software too with similar settings. VirtualBox is worth a try) anyway. good times. Can get my SP fix when mobile and on the Mac. |
