Anti NLOS nets
Here in this article you can read about this primitive but good enough innovation.
https://mil.in.ua/en/news/the-net-sa...amikaze-drone/ https://mil.in.ua/wp-content/uploads...5-1536x864.jpg Is very likely that both sides use that nets when vehicle is parked for longer time. Meaby we can introduce this inside game two possible inclusion of this in game mechanics 1. Net is a "Tent" unit when vehicle is on the same hex parked. NLOS weapon has reduced probability of kill ? 2. Net is a sandbag entrenchment but with different icon and reduce only attack from the top of NLOS ? |
Re: Anti NLOS nets
That's a lightweight drone. That fencing would have no effect on a real NLOS missile hitting at Mach 1.3 which is the speed of a Brimstone I. A spike hits at 600 mph.

Re: Anti NLOS nets
Thanks for clarification so may be necessary to differentiate between slow kamikaze drones with propeller and real NLOS rockets?
Two weapon classes if will be introduced more questions than answers. Just my observations. Switchable or WB Warmate are also slow enough that this net may stop them. Meby NLOS should be left as they are but kamikaze drone's may be an aircraft which are called like aircraft's in actually mechanics and they crash on hex with unit then this net's "tent" units may in some way reduce probability of kill. |
Re: Anti NLOS nets
I'm just not interested in pursuing this

Re: Anti NLOS nets
Nor me at all - one can always consider that the dug in bonus of a revetment is giving some protection from ATGM attacks anyways. we dont care if some of the revetment is covered in chicken wire as with the tanks dug in at Vietnam for anti-RPG measures. Its not new.
