Request for Scenario/Map help
 
Working on Hue 1968 and I have a problem.

Some bridges in Hue could not handle the USMC M48 tanks in use at the time, but others could.

Best I can come up with (so far) is make some bridges secondary (i.e. dirt) and others primary (i.e. paved) and add a note to the scenario description telling the player M48 tanks CANNOT cross secondary bridges.

Anyone have other ideas on how to handle this?

Maybe put impassable terrain on them or in front of them? I know that would also prevent other vehicles from using them.

The game does not have weight classes for bridges, so if the scenario is for humans only for the side with M48s then put a note in the readme for the end users to ignore if they wish.

The AI will blthely use them of course, if played the other way.

One thing I saw was making the foot bridge infantry only by putting down impassable terrain to make a land-bridge. I saw this in exactly -one- scenario and found it rather clever, but no good if you want smaller vehicles to pass. Like others said, the best you can do if you want jeeps and the like but no tanks is to write up some house rules and make the players super-duper pinky-promise to obey them.
