Game Options
 

I downloaded the most recent patches and noticed in the Game Options section that "check for auto-hide taskbar" and "show blast radius" are not available. There is no box to turn on or off. Its fine in WINSPWW2.
Is there a reason for this? Maybe its just my computer. Anyway, thanks for a good game.

I just double-checked both my working copy of the game and the Virgin copy I keep to test the installers and both show what you say you cannot see so I suggest you DL the most recent patch again and re-install

Of course it's there!

Did you install the patches to the same folder as your game is installed to? If not, then it wont work. And the patch path is now the new one, not the old one as used in early releases of the CD game.

See the game manual Game Installation section, scrool to the paragraph titled:
Windows Vista, Windows 7 or later installation ( this includes Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 )

That paragraph tells you what to do.

Basically - If your game was installed to C:\Program Files\Shrapnel Games\The Camo Workshop\WinSPMBT then you will need to reinstal the game to C:\Shrapnel Games\The Camo Workshop\WinSPMBT and then apply the patches to it. Note the deletion of \program files - so windows post V7 does not make a hash of the installation by "managing" it to use its new model "personalasied" user folders.

Thanks for your help. I did install them into the game folder. Obviously, I did something wrong. I'll just reinstall the last patch.

Check the GameOptions.exe in your game. ( main game folder )
Does the info match this Date Modified?

My guess is no.

The taskbar option was added to WinSPMBT version V10 and the "Show Blast Radius" ON/OFF option was added to WinSPMBT V12

Before that, Game Options looked exactly how you described yours

Open the GameOptions Help tab and tell us what the version number reads in the upper right of the GameOptions screen. It should report March 2021

My guess is you skipped the winSPMBT V16 Upgrade (2022) because that upgraded everything from V10-V16

I reinstalled the patch and its ok now. Thanks alot for your help.
