Is there a list of the maps available in game?

Re: Maps in game

I know I can click in game while making a fight and see the list but that is very time consuming and doesn't help a lot I am playing a lot of Vietnam campaigns all the way from dec 46 to April 75 depending on whether I want French South Vietnamese or American or allies.

I like to include armor but that is useless in the heavy jungle maps I get a lot of. when I say armor I mean armored cars and armored transport for the most part not a lot of tanks though I do play with armored cav for the South Vietnamese.

Is there a way to search for your own old posts I know I asked this long ago and several computers back and got an answer maybe I can find that old thread?

Re: Maps in game

When you start a campaign, after you have selected your core units and you are setting up your support units for the first battle you will see a button that says

"VIEW MAP"

Click on that and you will be brought to the map you will be playing on and on the right side of that screen you will see a button that is labeled

"EDIT MAP"

From there, change the map however you like. If you want less jungle take some away, if you want more, add it. The "fill range" "spatter effect" is handy for that

At the bottom of map screen page 2 just above the red up arrow is the map Generator. Spend an hour or so experimenting with that and you might find you just found a "new hobby" or just thin the jungle manually. With practice it's easy

NO there is no list of maps with descriptions of terrain. Players find what they like by loading a map that sounds interesting and looking at it and if they like it note the number down for future use

You can try the "search" forums button but in many ways we have found it's quicker to google a question using the game name than using the forum search but you may get lucky...... ALSO if you click on your name you will get an option to view all your posts which is more useful when you have a few dozen... not so much when the count gets into 4 or 5 digits
