Numbers displayed versus actual numbers
 

Does SE4G display 'estimates' for some of its calculations? Such as production bonuses and other percentage factors?

The reason I ask is because I tried to calculate a planet's production to see if my calculations match what is displayed.

They were off by fractions, but very close indeed.

It might be due to rounding off or there might be some race bonus you missed...plus if was only off by a little bit, so no harm is done.

Computers do their calculations in binary numbers so it might round results differently. The amount of the difference will grow if many calculations are needed. If the difference is large there is something wrong.
