good job, shrapnel !

Do you all notice how many new people are nere in forum once SEIV gold was out ? It means more sales, more customers for Shrapnel. I am really glad that MM and Shrapnel did not deserted SE IV but put a lot of efforts in supporting. Now they reap dividents ! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif An excelent example to other companies, IMHO.

I'm most excited about the new perspectives and ideas all the 'newbies' bring to the board. I'm looking forward to some different and challenging AIs, shipsets and mods down the road (if the Slannesh are any indication).

Great work Shrapnel!

As you know, I unfortunately recieved a damaged CD, but with no hesitation, Shrapnel Games offered to send me a new one the next day! Do you think that would have happened at say, Sierra or EA? I think not.

Thanks again!

When I purchased Aces of the Pacific the manual was ripped. I contacted Sierra and within 3 business days I had a new manual.

I do not know what they are like now... But i enjoyed the mag they published and they had some great games... And the mods for the aces series was really good for that time period.

Shrapnel, I love you and want to marry each and every one of you

Nippy, you didn't happen to choose that name while still deprived of sleep did you?

Welcome aboard.

Nippy what you do is a turn then go do a chore and repeat until done.

Do you include personal hygiene and eating in that list of chores? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

The Last two mornings I've been up before 5AM and boot up to play yet again....

Since I'm a newbie and just discovering how the game operates, I'll play 20-30 turns to familiarize myself with different aspects of startup... then start again.

A tech tree would be nice so that I could figure out how to get to armor, shields, et. al. Then again, there's the old trial and error method that Darwin seemed to think worked.

I was just going to applaud shrapnel and bump this up one....
but Wr8th, there's a tech tree in the research screen, and an option while starting the game to allow players to see it in its Entirety... If this isnt what you need then I dunno what to say... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif
And again, congrats to Shrapnel for such a success... I was home two days straight playing that game *LMAO*
"No! Bad Kaiser!...Now go back to work!"
