Mines and treaties
What if I am allied with someone for trade purposes but still want to build up minefields to keep him from invading. Is there any way to say "he's my friend but I still want my mines to attack"?

Re: Mines and treaties
Derb, good question. I strongly suspect the answer is an absolute Niet as I hgave never been able to get the mines to attack allies
If any whizzo modda out there knows how to do this, I would like to know myself. Nothing annoys me quite so much as the friendly imperium on my left blank being discourteous and sending colony ships into my space http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon8.gif |
Re: Mines and treaties
Actually, if you set things up right (possibly using a scenario), then you can do that, even in an unmodded game.
Check out One Empire, Multiplayer thread, which describes a way to split your empire into "War" and "Peace" factions. |
