Ringworld Question

I am working on a mod and am play testing it. I created a world generator base to accomadate the necessary materials to build a RW. I built a space yard ship, moved it to an empty star system, built 5 bases with 1 gravity plate each (2000kt each), built 5 bases with 1 cables each, and buit 1 base with RW generator. When I try to build the RW I get a message saying I don't have the necessary materials. Any ideas?

Re: Ringworld Question

Can you post/email your modified files so that we could take a look at them?

I just emailed you the files.

Hmm... I didn't get it. Try sending it directly through hotmail (I updated the email address here) instead of through kazharii.tk.

In the default config of the game you'd need five of each, yes. But have you altered the ringworld generator? The amount of materials needed is set in the Components.txt entry for the generator. If you increased the requirements than you'll need more components.

Re: Ringworld Question

Here it is from the components.txt file. I don't think I changed it in any way, but maybee you can verify?

Re: Ringworld Question

I may have answered my own question. I just noticed RW generator requires supplies and I did not leave room for them on the base. I will test and post result.

Re: Ringworld Question

Hotmail seems to be really laggy today. I still haven't gotten any emails from you.

Could you just upload the files to shrapnel?

Bases have infinite supply, so that isn't the problem. Did you change the size of the Gravity Plating or Hyper-Density Cables? That would require you to use more of them, since the req. is based on kilotonnage, and not simply a certain number of components.
