Range Check Error
What Is A Range Check Error and how do I fix it?
|
Re: Range Check Error
A Range Check Error is generated when a variable is assigned a value that is too big (or too small) to fit in the memory alloted for that type of variable.
How to fix it depends on when it's occuring, because there are so many ways to cause it. What circumstances are you getting the RCE in? |

In Tactical Combat

Re: Range Check Error
The fighter bug. This RCE is caused because of an overflow in the intergrater or something like that.
Switch the player your having tactical combat with from computer control to human control, via option while in game. Then play that oponents turn, and avoid combat, or, send in half or less of the openant fleet. You'll end up controlling both fleets in combat. Regardelss, you may not beable to use full fleets. Too many ships namely fighters, cause the RCE. |
