international shipping costs
 

(sorry if this is somewhere on the shrapnel website - couldn't see it)

Does anyone have a rough idea as to how much Shrapnel would charge for postage to the UK? The T&C page just said international costs varied, and short of actually ordering I couldn't see a rough idea of a price.

Anyone from the UK bought from here?
If so, what was the postage cost, and did any additional tax get charged on delivery?

I think I paid something like 40quid for game+shipping. No extra taxes or anything. Of course this will vary with exchange rates.

I recommend just biting the bullet and getting the game (but then I would) - put it on pLastic; after all, pLastic isn't *real* money, is it £-)

Ox Steve, I have my credit card statement here (which I pay off monthly) which says I paid $39.95 for the game and $19.95 for the shipping (took 2 days and was excellent) for a total of approx £42

I DID get a demand for import duty but I think this is because I put my company address down as the postal address - send it to your home address and it shouldn't be an issue
