mods not working
hey guys just finished playin a game with no mods and was cool wanted to add more flavor to the game however i install the mods but am not getting them to work :{ i have gold v1.6 and have the folders pirates and nomads and the modpack all correct Versions for gold in C:\programfiles\shrapelgames\malfadormachinations\ spaceempiresIVgold is the correct place for these folders
any help would be greatful |

If you haven't done so, download the mod launcher lst, unzip and put in the directory. Also what I found gave me fits at first, find the path.txt in the direcotry, scroll down and way over to the right you'll see the word "none" change that to tdm-modpac or one of the other mods, then go and download the mods from the cd, set the path, unzip and they should load into the launcher then you should be able to play... good luck hope I didn't forget anything

thankx for the help i got it to work but why can i only use one mod i cant use multiple mods ?/

You can only use *one* mod at once without playing with the files used in the mods.
Depending on the mods involved, getting them to work together can be easy or downright insane. Phoenix-D |

To clarify, you can only run ONE mod at a time, unless you decide to edit the mods yourself and create some sort of custom amalgamation of the data in them. Some mods will be easier to combine than others (those that never overlap), but if you wanted to combine, say P&N and DevNull you'd probably have a long editing haul ahead of you.

About mixing P&N and TDM :
There is a thread in this forum by Suicide Junkie about it. It is called something like P&N vs. TDM He was able to make TDM AI work with P&N technology.
