How to use Robo\'s?
 

Hi

Just started playing game, and my god does the manual suck.. grin

Good game though.. but I made a transport with robofarmers and moved it to an asteroid field.. they dont' seem to do anything though.. at least the cargo bays i installed don't seem to be taking on any cargo..

Does anyone have simple step by step as to what you do to get them to work?

They are doing something - resources (minerals, organics, radioactives) aren't stored as cargo. Go to your economy screen (the crown) and you will see there that you are recieving resources from remote mining,

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Resources are not visible in transit. It's automatic. If you click on the ship in the system window, then left-click on the ship displayed in the 'info box' on the upper right you'll get a detailed information screen for that ship. The amount of resources it is contributing to your empire will be visible near the bottom of that screen.

Just to make sure you know, you do not need any cargo bays on ships that have remote miners.

while we're on remote miners, does anyone find them useful? Cause i sure don't. what exactly are htey good for, if you want to win that is. in a RP game i definately see the value for a race that has that in its description. So any thoughts?
