Reserach Points Question
 

Just when I think I've got this game figured out something new and weird happens. In one turn of a PBW game my available research points jumped by 6000 points. Out of that 100 was an increase in my one and only treaty. They thing is that in that turn I built 0 new research facilities. I was researching the same item on both turns. The only other thing of significance that happened was 2 planets being killed. So why the increase?? They only thinkg I can figure is my scientists are really smart and ran away from the doomed planets bringing their notes with them. :-)

Did you finish building a Space port on the turn before?
If so, all the research generated in that system just started becoming useful!
