Request for first story by BeeDee10
 

Hey been lurking for ages and finally need some help. A guy called BeeDee10 wrote a great player story about a rock/none machine race just comeing to grips with the funky rules of this universe. It appears to have dropped off the Boards, because a search for BeeDee10 or game stories only turns up his second story. If anyone still has it -- could it be reposted somewhere?

Cool, I had no idea anyone remembered that one. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif I'm sure I've got the file lying around here somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it up and repost it. I don't have time right now, though, I'll have to get to it later today.

Oh yeah, I loved that story. Wierd thing is, I could have sworn it was in the "Game Stories" thread, http://www.shrapnelgames.com/cgi-bin...3;t=001481;p=1

I looked through the thread. Your Diospora story is there (Another good one), and there are comments to you and from you about the Machine race story, but it's not there. It's like that particular post got deleted or something.

Well, I've got the file here, but over to the left of this text entry box is the note "File Uploading is not allowed in this forum." So I'm uncertain how to proceed with getting it put back Online. Any suggestions would be welcome.

You could also just post the text of the story. I've still got links to all the game stories I've come across.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I'd recommend putting stories in the SE IV Maps and Scenarios thread; that's where they're least likely to get lost in the clutter.

What you do is go to the New Scenario/Mod Forum and go into oen of the SEIV threads there (Doesn' matter which) and hit "post reply". In that screen the upload file form will be active and you can do just that. Then you can upload the file and it will give you a link to post into your message. Then back out of there, you don't need to actualy post anything there, you just want the link, and come back here and post a repy and paste the link in.
