Ship/Fleet Training - Standard vs. Psychic
Is there a difference between the psychic ship/fleet trainig facilities (only available with psychic tech tree) and the standard ones (allowed to build by everyone)?
I built both of them in different systems and can't see any difference so far ... except that the psychic ones are much more expensive in ressource cost and building time. Any information on this would be appreciated. Thanks. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif ZzZ http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif |
Re: Ship/Fleet Training - Standard vs. Psychic
You have to be in orbit of the planet to gain experience from the standard facility.
The psychic one broadcasts the experience across the whole system. With the Psychic one, you can train your fleets as they pass through, or while they are blockading warppoints. |

The standard and psychic also stack. So you can have psychic ship/fleet training facilities in a system, and have ships/fleets in orbit of a planet that has standard training facilities recieve the bonus from both.
So, if you have a planet with two moons, all three having a ship and fleet training facility, and the psychic training facilities on a planet in the system, ships and fleets in the sector of the planet/moons will recieve training times FOUR. For unmodded SEIV, that completely trains a fleet/ships to 20% in two turns. |
