1.67 Gold Patch Problems
 

I am having some trouble with the 1.67 gold patch, can anyone help.

SEIV Gold 1.60 works fine, as soon as I install the patch I have several errors which show up 2 or 3 times whenever I process a turn.

The errors I am getting are as follows.
1. Could not find field "Ships don't move through minefields" in record "Settings"
2. Could not find field "Ships don't move through restricted systems" in record "Settings"

There are about 12 other statements that are similar to these as well.

You're using a mod, are you not?

The problem is you're missing those files in your AIsettings.txt.. for a few races, which is why it pops up more than once. Need to get updated AI files or go add those lines manually.

Those errors are caused by RACES that have out dated, or non 1.67 AI.

You can repair them by modifying the nessasary files. Copy the SETTINGS.txt file from another race and paste it into the race that is causing the error. Rename it of course.

There is a tutorial about how to fix the problem, but I can't seem to find it. Ah, perhaps this is it CLICK HERE
