Proportions or Derek\'s Mod PBW?
 

I finally registered onto PBW, so I am new and lacking in the wisdom to easily figure it out. I am looking to see if anyone has set up a PBW game using either the Proportions Mod or Derek's Mod. If so I am very eager to join up. Any advice as to doing so or pointing me in the right direction would be very appreciative. Thank you.

Caution: I am new to the PBW realm; however, I feel very confident in my skills as to being a darn good player otherwise. Once again thank you.

I know that PBW is set up for Proportions 2.1, becasue I'm playing a game with it now. If you wait a little longer though, you might find that the new proportions Version (V2.3? Something like that) comes Online.

Can you handle a 24 hour turn duration? Looking for players to start a small, 24 hr Proportions 2.2 game

Pheonix-D, yes I can handle a 24 hour turn duration. I am currently in Derek's Mod game that is giving me hell every time I try to convert to another type of mod(Component file is all screwy). But if you are interested, I'm interested. I used to play Proportions all the time, good stuff.

Phoenix-D, sorry about the spelling on your name first time. Looks like I can still play Proportions Mod with out having to do major adjustments. Can't explain why I can not load any other games anymore. I uploaded the "newcomponents file" a couple of weeks ago, and ever since all the other games except for Proportions and Derek's Mod don't want to load up.

But yeah, I'm interested and willing.

It's up. Created it with 5 players, though if it takes too long I'll go with 4 (3 if AIs are in)

Thats quite strange. That was part of the ImageMod, and shouldn't have caused any problems with other games. The ImageMod was designed to be an add-on, not a replacement, and fully compatible with all mods, and stock SEIV Gold.

One suggestion is to go into the Pictures subdirectory of Derek's Mod, and make sure there are no component files anywhere in that subdirectory, or any other subdirectories within that. The imagemod was hopefully downloaded into the Picture subdirectory of the main SEIV directory. That might be your problem, if it is not there.
